Daniel
Owner | Designer | Project Manager
Stemming from a lifelong enjoyment of gardening, Daniel grounds his practice in a belief that gardening should be fun. He shares and inspires this passion with his clients, cultivating spaces that make them truly happy. Daniel designs for his clients’ space and taste, helping them articulate their vision and bringing that vision to life.
Gardening has been a constant wherever he’s lived. Having spent several years living in Asia, Daniel brings a broad sense of style to each project which blends beautifully with the lush flora of the Pacific Northwest. Ochre has grown out of Daniel’s lasting pursuit of gardening and a notion that gardens are good for one’s soul.
Benson

With an insatiable curiosity to understand how things work, and an “I can do it” mentality, Benson approaches each project with confidence. No matter the scope or technical complexity, he has the skills to ensure the desired result. As the structural and hardscape lead, as well as being our steel fabricator, Benson does heavy lifting for Ochre. With his creativity and knowledge he brings spaces to life in a major way, equally interested in the big picture as he is the fine details.
An accomplished classical pianist, chef, and lover of mid-century design, Benson believes one’s home should be a sanctuary and a place where creativity can thrive.
